Gender and Weight Loss

Well, most of us are aware that men and men does not have the same physique. There are huge differences in how our bodies are built due to things like hormones, that control how the muscles, fat and shapes of our bones are made. In men, the testosterone hormone determines the size of bones, causes hair growth and deepens the voice. Testosterone controls the mass of the muscles. In turn, this thing also control the metabolism. If someone has more muscles, they can burn the calories from the food in a much faster rate than someone with less muscles. So, this is the very difference between women and men when it comes to weight loss. Here we also have the difference between those who are overweight and those who are slimmer.

And we all know examples of men and women training side by side not getting the same results. Many modern studies clearly point out the fact that women seem to gain weight a lot faster than men does. They also have a hader time getting rid of fat it all through working out. Yes, women are stuck in the worst part of this whole weight loss thing. They gain faster and have a harder time trying to get rid of it all when working out at the gym. Since the weight loss thing is no easy process for most men to handle, please imagine how bad women are having it (if you’re a man that is…).
